Winter Tour In Kosovo

Day 1. Pristina Airport - Prizren, Kosovo (1h: 70 km)

Meet our guide at Pristina Airport and drive to Prizren, the Cultural Capital of Kosovo. Surrounded by mountainous landscapes, discover the old Ottoman center of the city where the Lumbardhi river passes. Its cobbled streets and its tea rooms in the old bazaar, give Prizren a unique Ottoman charm with its three religious enclosures nearby: the Mosque of Sinan Pasha, the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint George, and the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of the Perpetual Relief. Day 2. Prizren - Prevalla - Ski touring, Kosovo (45min: 30km)

After breakfast, take the road to the village of Prevalla and brief on the day. Start your week of ski touring in the Sharr Mountains and enjoy sumptuous pine forest landscapes. Around noon, you will reach Mount Konjushka, located at an altitude of 2,550 meters, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the region. After a break and a photo stop, you will finally begin the ski descent to Prevalla.

Day 3. Ski touring, Kosovo

After breakfast, continue your exploration of the Sharr Mountains. Depart from your hotel and begin the ascent to the highest peak of the day, Lake Jazince located at 2,200 meters above sea level. Considered the coldest lake in Kosovo, enjoy a break for lunch in this beautiful landscape. Then start the superb ski descent 1000 meters below. Transfer to Brezovica, the largest ski resort in Kosovo, and drop off your luggage at your hotel.

Day 4. Ski touring, Kosovo

After breakfast, head to the ski slopes of Brezovica resort. Start the ascent for the first stage of the day, Lake Livadh, located at 2,173 meters above sea level for a well-deserved break. You will finally reach the summit of the day, Mount Piribreg, which is 2,500 meters above sea level. Then start the descent and return to the same hotel as the day before. Day 5. Ski Touring, Kosovo

After breakfast, explore the peaks of Brezovica once again. Start the ascent from the summit of Black Rock, on the border with North Macedonia. Located at 2,520 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak in the Brezovica ski center. After a lunch break, you will enjoy a magnificent descent to Brezovica. Then transfer to Prevalla.

Day 6. Ski Touring, Kosovo

After breakfast, go for a short day of skiing. Gear up and set off for a descent to the village of Mushnikovo located at an altitude of 950 meters, taking the time to enjoy the scenery. Then leave for “Stanet e Struzes” an isolated refuge located in a charming valley and drop off your luggage. Take advantage of the afternoon for a well-deserved rest and enjoy a traditional dinner at the end of the day.

Day 7. Ski Touring, Kosovo

After breakfast, take the road to the starting point of the hike at an altitude of 1,400 meters. Get ready for your last day of ski touring and begin the ascent to the Scarpa summit which is located 2,470 meters above sea level. Take advantage of your last lunch break and photo stop to soak up the landscapes. Then start the descent on skis. Transfer to Prizren in the afternoon. Take advantage of your last evening in Prizren to take stock of your week of adrenaline and magic!

Day 8. Prizren - Pristina Airport, Kosovo (1h: 70 km)

After breakfast, free time in your hotel until your transfer to the airport for your return flight.
