Day 1: Pristina Airport - Pristina, Kosovo

Meet our guide at the airport and head to the city center.

Join Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, the youngest country in Europe.

Day 2: Pristina - Mitrovica - Pristina, Kosovo

After breakfast, start a sightseeing tour of Pristina, the newest and smallest capital of the Balkans. Explore the political and economic capital of Kosovo, where you will discover an unprecedented architectural contrast in Europe between communist and modern architecture. Discover its vibrant city life with its many bars and restaurants.

Afterward, join an agritourism restaurant serving local and organic products to discover excellent Albanian gastronomy.

You will then head towards Mitrovica for a walk in the most divided city in the Balkans. Since 1999, the Ibar River and its bridge have served as a border between North Mitrovica, predominantly Serbian, and South Mitrovica, mainly populated by Albanians.

Visit the impressive Xhamia e Zallit Mosque, cross the bridge, and reach the Miner’s Monument in the Serbian part, where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

On the way back to Pristina, make a stop in Gazimestan. Built in 1953, it commemorates the famous Battle of Kosovo Polje, which took place on June 15, 1389, when a Balkan coalition faced the expanding Ottoman Empire.

Day 3: Pristina - Mirusha Waterfalls - White Drin Waterfall - Peja, Kosovo

After breakfast, head to the Mirusha Waterfalls (optional 40-minute hike), one of the most visited natural sites in Kosovo. You will admire the effects of water erosion, which, over time, created canyons and caves. The river has carved a 10-kilometer canyon and formed 13 lakes connected by waterfalls.

Afterward, continue to the White Drin Waterfall and enjoy lunch by the river.

After lunch, walk to the summit to reach the "Sleeping Beauty" caves for an interior visit of galleries carved over centuries by the force of water.

Head to Peja, the largest city in western Kosovo, located near the Rugova Mountains and valley.

Visit the Ethnological Museum of Peja, where you will immerse yourself in the traditional life of Kosovars in the 20th century.

Then check in at your hotel and enjoy the spa or take a walk through the old bazaar of the city.

Day 4: Peja - Rugova Valley - Peja, Kosovo

After breakfast, visit the Patriarchal Monastery of Peja, one of the major Orthodox religious centers in the region. Admire its well-preserved frescoes and peaceful atmosphere.

For lunch, head to the Rugova Valley, one of the longest canyons in Europe, and visit a mountain guesthouse for a traditional meal while learning about the lifestyle of local mountain communities.

OPTION: Activities available in Rugova Valley include zip-lining, via ferrata, climbing, and biking.

Enjoy a short hike in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Rugova Mountains with your host and learn about the local flora and fauna.

Return to Peja in the evening and enjoy some free time.

Day 5: Peja - Dečani - Gjakova - Velika Hoča - Prizren, Kosovo

After breakfast, head towards the Visoki Dečani Monastery, a 14th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire its remarkable frescoes, considered among the finest examples of Serbian and Byzantine art.

Then visit a "Kula," a traditional Albanian house, to learn about village life in the past.

Continue towards Gjakova, with a stop at Radoniqi Lake, the second-largest lake in Kosovo, for a coffee break by the water.

Arrive in Gjakova, a charming town with a historic center and traditional craft shops. Meet local artisans (depending on availability) and discover traditional crafts such as "Plis" (Albanian hats), wooden cradles, and handmade textiles.

Continue to Prizren, stopping in Velika Hoča, a Serbian village known for its vineyards, where you will enjoy a wine tasting.

Day 6: Prizren, Kosovo

After breakfast, explore Prizren, the cultural and historical capital of Kosovo. Surrounded by mountains, discover its old Ottoman center along the Lumbardhi River.

Its narrow streets and tea houses in the old bazaar give Prizren a unique charm. Visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, the Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, and the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Also visit the Albanian League of Prizren, an important historical site from the late 19th century.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant.

Free time to visit Prizren Fortress for panoramic views of the city.

Optional visit to a filigree workshop to discover traditional Albanian jewelry craftsmanship.

Day 7: Prizren - Letnica - Novo Brdo, Kosovo

After breakfast, drive towards Gračanica through the Sharr Mountains, with an optional stop for Sharr cheese tasting (subject to availability).

Reach Letnica and visit the famous Church of the Black Madonna, where Mother Teresa is said to have felt her calling. Every August, thousands of pilgrims gather here to celebrate.

Continue to Gjilan, one of the largest cities in eastern Kosovo, and have lunch at a ranch nearby.

OPTION: Horse riding at the ranch or in nature.

After lunch, visit Novo Brdo Castle, located on a plateau offering stunning panoramic views.

Overnight in traditional villas on the hillside with views of the castle.

Day 8: Novo Brdo - Ulpiana - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast, visit the Marble (Gadime) Cave and explore its impressive formations of stalactites, stalagmites, and aragonite, formed over millions of years.

Continue to Ulpiana, the largest archaeological site in Kosovo, featuring remains of a Roman city founded during the reign of Emperor Trajan.

Proceed to Gračanica, check in at the hotel, and enjoy lunch in the hotel garden.

In the afternoon, visit the Gračanica Monastery, a UNESCO-listed 14th-century site known for its well-presed frescoes.

Dinner in a traditional Serbian restaurant.

Day 9: Gračanica - Kukaj - Janjevo - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast, visit the Bear Sanctuary, where formerly captive bears have been rescued and rehabilitated.

Continue to Janjevo, an abandoned Croatian village, and learn about its historical significance as a mining and trading hub.

Return to Gračanica in the evening.
