Package Itinerary

Day 1. Airport Pristina - Pristina, Kosovo

Meet our guide at the airport and head to the city center.

Join Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, the youngest country in Europe. Explore the political and economic capital of Kosovo where you will discover an unprecedented architectural contrast in Europe and an ever-evolving effervescent city.

Dinner and overnight stay in Pristina. Hotel Afa 4 *

Day 2. Pristina - Peja, Kosovo

After breakfast, start a sightseeing tour of Pristina, the newest and smallest capital of the Balkans. It already has everything of a large metropolis with a lively city center with its many cafes and restaurants.

Lunch in a traditional agrotourism restaurant serving local and organic products to discover the excellent Albanian gastronomy.

Depart for Peja, the largest town in western Kosovo located at the foot of the Rugova mountains and gorges.

Join the waterfall of the White Drin, and walk to the summit where you will reach the caves of "Sleeping Beauty" for an interior visit gallery carved for centuries by the force of the water.

Visit the Patriarchal Monastery of Peja, one of the strongholds of the Orthodox religion in the region. Admire its many well-preserved frescoes as well as the calm and serene atmosphere present in this place.

Then drop your bags at the hotel and enjoy the Spa at your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Peja. Hotel Dukagjini & Spa 5 *

Day 3. Peja, Kosovo

After breakfast, leave towards the Rugova Canyon and reach the mountain village of Kuqishte from where you will begin a trek in the Albanian Alps.

You will enjoy the beauty of the landscape and you will reach two glacial lakes "Liqeni I Kuqishtës" & "Liqeni I Drelajve" in which you can bathe if you are adventurous.

You will then travel to a guest house located in Rugova Gorge for a traditional lunch, learning about the life of the locals living in the mountains.

During the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to do several sports activities.

OPTION: Via Ferrata – One of the only Via Ferrata in Kosovo. Join your instructor and start the ascent to the top of steep cliffs and enjoy incredible views over the valley!

OPTION: Zipline at an extra charge – Gear up for a zipline descent through the Rugova Canyon!

OPTION: Giant Swing at an extra charge –The giant swing at Ranch de Peja offers you a unique free-fall experience.

OPTION: Horse riding at an extra charge - You will start a horseback ride above the Rugova gorges where you will appreciate the freshness and beauty of the landscape around you.

Return to Peja and reach your hotel.

Day 4. Peja - Decani - Gjakova - Velika Hoca - Prizren, Kosovo

After breakfast, head towards Visoki Decani Monastery. Monument dating from the 14th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can admire these frescoes which constitute one of the peaks of the Serbian art, powerfully inspired by the Byzantine art, in particular by the church Saint-Sauveur of Constantinople

You will then go to a "Kula", a traditional Albanian house to discover the old life of the Albanian villages.

Take the road to Gjakova, a charming city of Kosovo with its old authentic center and many craft stalls. Meeting of local artisans according to availability who practice trades that no longer exist in Western Europe. You will discover confectioners of "Plis" (traditional Albanian hat), "diep" (wooden cradles) as well as for Albanian seamstresses.

Continue to Prizren and make a stop in the village of Velika Hoca, a Serbian enclave in the heart of Kosovo. Meet a family whose wine production dates back to the 13th century and taste several wines and rakias.

Finally arrive at Prizren and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Prizren. Centrum hotel 4

Day 5. Prizren - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast, join an organic cheese factory and learn about the Sharr cheese-making process. You will visit the farm with its animals then you will start tasting cheeses and local products.

Start the sightseeing tour of Prizren, the cultural and historical capital of Kosovo. Surrounded by mountainous landscapes, discover the old Ottoman center of the city where the Lumbardhi River flows.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant in Prizren.

Free time to go to the fortress of Prizren for a breathtaking view of the city.

Visit the Albanian League of Prizren, the first league for the defense of Albanian rights established at the end of the 19th century. Lunch in a traditional restaurant in Prizren.

Visit the manufacture of filigree, traditional Albanian jewelry that has its origins in ancient Egypt.

Dinner and overnight stay in Prizren. Centrum Hotel 4*

Day 6. Prizren - Janjevo - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast free time in Prizren or sports activities.

OPTION: Paragliding at an extra charge – Join your instructor and after following the instructions start the first flight over Prizren and the surrounding area.

OPTION: Via Ferrata at an extra charge – Start a climbing experience in which you will complete a course of a series of steel ropes and stairs while being firmly attached to the rock.

Cross beautiful mountain roads and reach Gračanica, a Serbian village located 10 minutes from Pristina.

On the way, make a stop at the Marble Cave or Gadime Cave. Discover an underground world of breathtaking stalagmites, stalagmites, and aragonites, which formed over 200 million years ago. The blue, red, white, and yellow elements abound along with the ceilings, walls, and floors of the cave, providing an extraordinary experience.

Visit the Gračanica Monastery dating back from 14th-century and UNESCO-listed.

Finally, go to Janjevo, an abandoned Croatian village. Go on a tour that will retrace the history of the Croatian community that settled in Janjevo in the 14th century. An important economic hub for the Croats who worked alongside the Saxons in the mines of Novo Brdo and Kopaonik.

Day 7. Gračanica - Novo Brdo - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast, you will drive towards the Bear Sanctuary, where many captive bears in private restaurants in Kosovo and Albania were released.

Then leave for Kukaj, a small village originally rebuilt in the mountains where you can enjoy a traditional Albanian meal like Flija (a tart made of several layers of pancakes covered with cream).

After lunch, start a hike to reach the Novo Brdo Castle, located on the heights of a plateau offering a splendid panoramic view of the region.

Return to your hotel in Gračanica at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight in Gračanica. Hotel Gračanica 3 *

Day 8. Gračanica - Pristina Airport, Kosovo

After breakfast, free time in your hotel until your transfer to the airport for your return flight.
