Rarely, the Mosque of Mulla Veseli and the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Uroš share the same courtyard in the center of town. The mosque was built in 1894 and rebuilt in 1941, while that the church was built in 1927. None of them were destroyed during the 1999 war.
