Day 1. Pristina airport - Pristina, Kosovo

Meet our guide at the airport and head to the city center.

Join Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, the youngest country in Europe.

Day 2. Pristina - Mitrovica - Pristina, Kosovo

After breakfast, start a sightseeing tour of Pristina, the newest and smallest capital of the Balkans. Explore the political and economic capital of Kosovo where you will discover an unprecedented architectural contrast in Europe between communist and modern architecture. Discover its effervescent living city with its many bars and restaurants.

Join afterward an agritourism restaurant serving local and organic products to discover the excellent Albanian gastronomy.

You will leave in the direction of Mitrovica, for a walk in the most divided city of the Balkans. Since 1999, the Ibar river with its bridge has served as a border between the small North Mitrovica, predominantly Serbian, and the large South Mitrovica, mainly populated by Albanians.

Visit the impressive Mosque of Xhamia e Zallit, cross the bridge, and join the Miner’s Monument in the Serbian part where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

On the way back to Pristina, make a stop in Gazimestan. Built in 1953, it represents the famous Battle of Kosovo Polje, which took place on June 15, 1389, in which a Balkan coalition of forces faced the expanding Ottoman Empire.

Day 3. Pristina - Mirusha Waterfall - White Drin Waterfall - Peja, Kosovo

After breakfast, join the Mirusha waterfalls (hiking for 40 minutes possible) one of the most visited landscape places in Kosovo. You will admire the natural effect of the water which overages, created canyons and caves, and are now famous all over the country. The river carved a 10 kilometers canyon and created 13 lakes with waterfalls between them.

Afterward, join the waterfall of the White Drin, and have lunch next to the river.

After lunch, walk to the summit where you will reach the caves of "Sleeping Beauty" for an interior visit gallery carved for centuries by the force of the water.

Head for Peja, the largest city in western Kosovo located next to the Rugova mountains and valley.

Visit the Ethnological Museum of Peja where you will immerse yourself in the traditional life of the Kosovars of the 20th century.

Then drop your bags at the hotel and enjoy the Spa of your hotel or walk along the old Baazar of the city. Dinner and overnight in Peja. Hotel Dukagjini & Spa 5*

Day 4. Peja - Rugova Valley - Peja, Kosovo

After breakfast, visit the Patriarchal Monastery of Peja, one of the strongholds of the Orthodox religion in the region. Admire its many well-preserved frescoes as well as the calm and serene atmosphere present in this place.

For the lunch, you will join the Rugova Valley, one of the longest canyons in Europe, and join a small guesthouse in the mountain for a traditional lunch and learn more about the lives of the mountain inhabitants of Kosovo.

OPTION: Many activities are possible in Rugova Valley like Zip-Line, Via Ferrata, climbing biking.

Start a small hike in the amazing nature of the Rugova mountain with your host and learn more about the fauna and flora of the area.

Go back to Peja at the end of the day and have free time.

Day 5. Peja - Decani - Gjakova - Velika Hoca - Prizren, Kosovo

After breakfast, head towards Visoki Decani Monastery. Monument dating from the 14th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can admire these frescoes which constitute one of the peaks of Serbian art, powerfully inspired by Byzantine art, in particular by the church Saint-Sauveur of Constantinople.

You will then go to a "Kula", a traditional Albanian house to discover the old life of the Albanian villages.

After the visit, take the road to Gjakova. On the way, make a short stop at Radoniqi Lake which is the second largest lake in Kosovo, and enjoy a coffee in front of the lake.

Arrive in Gjakova, a charming city of Kosovo with its old authentic center and many craft stalls. Meeting of local artisans according to availability who practice trades that no longer exist in Western Europe. You will discover confectioners of "Plis" (traditional Albanian hat), "diep" (wooden cradles) as well as for Albanian seamstresses.

Continue to Prizren and make a stop in the town of Velika Hoca, a small Serbian village famous for its vineyards. Tasting of different local wines.

Finally arrive at Prizren and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Prizren. Centrum hotel 4*

Day 6. Prizren, Kosovo

After breakfast, visit Prizren, the cultural and historical capital of Kosovo. Surrounded by mountainous landscapes, discover the old Ottoman center of the city where the Lumbardhi River flows.

Its narrow streets and its tea rooms in the old bazaar, give Prizren a unique Ottoman charm. You will visit three nearby religious enclosures: the Sinan Pasha Mosque, the Saint George Orthodox Cathedral, and the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Also visit the Albanian League of Prizren, the first league for the defense of Albanian rights established at the end of the 19th century.

Lunch in a traditional restaurant in Prizren.

Free time to drive to Prizren Fortress for a breathtaking view of the city.

Opportunity to visit the manufacture of filigree, traditional Albanian jewelry that has its origins in ancient Egypt.

Day 7. Prizren - Letnica - Novo Brdo, Kosovo

After breakfast, drive towards Gracanica through the Sharr Mountains. Possibility of a stop in a village for a cheese tasting Sharr (subject to availability).

Reach the village of Letnica and join the famous Church of the Black Madonna where Mother Teresa herself heard the call of vocation. Every year in the middle of August thousands of pilgrims come to celebrate the feast of the Black Madonna in this small hidden village located in the Karadaku mountains.

Continue your journey to Gjilan, the biggest city in the East of Kosovo. For the lunch, you will reach a Ranch located near Gjilan.

OPTION: Possibility to organize horse riding on the Ranch or in nature.

After lunch, go to Novo Brdo Castle, located on the heights of a plateau offering a splendid panoramic view of the region.

For the night, join traditional villas located on the mountain slope with an amazing view of the Novo Brdo castle. Dinner and overnight in Novo Brdo. Villa Kalaja

Day 8. Novo Brdo - Ulpiana - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast, join the Marble Cave or Gadime Cave. Discover an underground world of breathtaking stalagmites, stalagmites, and aragonites, which formed over 200 million years ago. The blue, red, white, and yellow elements abound along with the ceilings, walls, and floors of the cave, providing an extraordinary experience.

Join Ulpiana, the largest archaeological site in the country spanning 33 ha. It houses the remains of a Roman city founded by Emperor Trajan at the turn of the 1st century AD.

You will then reach Gračanica, a Serbian village located 10 minutes from Pristina, drop your bags in the hotel, and have lunch in the hotel gardens.

During the afternoon, visit the Monastery of Gračanica, registered by UNESCO, the Monastery was built in the XIV century and has very well-conserved frescoes.

Day 9. Gračanica - Kukaj - Janjevo - Gračanica, Kosovo

After breakfast, drive to the Bear Sanctuary, where many captive bears in private restaurants in Kosovo and Albania were released.

Then leave for Kukaj, a small village originally rebuilt in the mountains where you can enjoy a traditional Albanian meal like Flija (a tart made of several layers of pancakes covered with cream).

Go to Janjevo, an abandoned Croatian village. Go on a tour that will retrace the history of the Croatian community that settled in Janjevo in the 14th century. An important economic hub for the Croats who worked alongside the Saxons in the mines of Novo Brdo and Kopaonik.

Return to your hotel in Gračanica at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight in Gračanica. Hotel Gračanica 3 *

Day 10. Gračanica - Pristina Airport, Kosovo

After breakfast, free time in your hotel in Gračanica until your transfer to the airport for your return flight.
